Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with Lyzos. If you're not, here's how refunds work.
Refunds available within 14 days of your initial purchase if you haven't used the service substantially. After 14 days, subscriptions are non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime to stop future charges.
1. 14-Day Refund Window
If you're unsatisfied with Lyzos, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase, provided you have not used the service substantially (e.g., analyzed more than 50 picks or used the service on more than 5 separate days).
This 14-day window applies only to your first subscription purchase. Refunds on renewals (month 2 and beyond) are evaluated on a case-by-case basis as described below.
2. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email support@lyzos.net from the address associated with your account
- Include your name, email, and approximate purchase date
- Briefly describe the reason for your request (helps us improve)
We respond to refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle, our payment partner, and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
3. Subscription Renewals
Lyzos subscriptions automatically renew on a monthly basis. To avoid being charged for the next month, cancel before your renewal date — use the link in your most recent Paddle receipt email or email support@lyzos.net.
If you forget to cancel and are charged for a renewal you didn't intend to keep, contact us within 5 days of the charge. We typically refund unintentional renewals if the service has not been used during the new billing cycle.
4. What's Not Refundable
The following are generally not refundable:
- Subscription periods after substantial use of the service (50+ picks analyzed or 5+ active days)
- Renewals more than 5 days after the charge, where the service has been used during the cycle
- Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
- Any refund requested more than 60 days after the original charge (subject to applicable consumer protection laws)
5. Cancellation vs. Refund
These are different:
- Cancel: stops future charges. You retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refund of the current period.
- Refund: reverses a recent charge per the rules above. Access to the service ends immediately upon refund.
Cancellation is always available — there is no fee or penalty to cancel.
6. Disputed Charges
If you don't recognize a charge from "Paddle.net" or "Paddle*Lyzos" on your statement, that's our payment processor — Paddle handles billing on our behalf. Before filing a dispute with your bank, please contact us at support@lyzos.net or visit paddle.net for help. We can usually resolve any concern faster than a chargeback can.
7. Consumer Protection Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction (such as EU consumer rights, UK consumer protection, or US state-level statutes). If your local law provides stronger refund rights than this policy, those apply.
