Terms of Service

Welcome to Lyzos. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lyzos website, application, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Lyzos ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service (or 21+ where required by your jurisdiction's gambling laws). By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction. The Service is not intended for use in any jurisdiction where it would be illegal.

2. The Service

Lyzos provides sports analytics and statistical analysis tools to help users evaluate player performance trends across professional sports leagues including the NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL. The Service generates a composite score (the "Lyzos Score") based on factors including recent performance, historical hit rates, opponent matchups, venue splits, rest days, and injury status.

The Service is provided for informational and analytical purposes only. The Lyzos Score and any data we provide are not guarantees, predictions, or recommendations of outcomes. Past performance does not indicate future results.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may not share your account, sell access to it, or use another person's account without permission. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions to Lyzos are processed through Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our authorized reseller and merchant of record. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's terms of service.

Subscriptions automatically renew on a monthly basis at the price in effect at the time of renewal. You may cancel at any time using the link in your Paddle receipt email or by emailing support@lyzos.net. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.

Charges will appear on your statement as "Paddle.net" or "Paddle*Lyzos." Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service through automated means
• Resell, redistribute, or republish data obtained from the Service without written permission
• Share account credentials or allow others to use your account
• Interfere with the Service's operation, security, or other users' access
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others
• Use the Service if you are under the legal age for sports wagering in your jurisdiction

6. No Gambling Advice

Lyzos does not provide gambling advice, financial advice, or any guarantees about sporting event outcomes. The data, scores, and analysis we provide are statistical tools — not predictions or recommendations to place wagers.

If you choose to use information from Lyzos in connection with sports wagering, you do so entirely at your own risk. Sports betting carries significant financial risk, and you may lose money. Only ever risk what you can afford to lose.

7. Data and Statistics

Statistical data displayed in the Service is sourced from third-party data providers and is provided "as-is." While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant that all data is current, complete, or error-free. You should verify any information independently before making decisions based on it.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all text, graphics, logos, software, and content (other than statistical data licensed from third parties), is the property of Lyzos and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You retain ownership of any content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use it solely for operating and improving the Service.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE. WE DO NOT WARRANT ANY OUTCOMES, RESULTS, OR FINANCIAL GAINS FROM USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LYZOS AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSSES INCURRED FROM SPORTS WAGERING DECISIONS, WHETHER OR NOT WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lyzos, its operators, and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting support.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will remain in effect.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Tarrant County, Texas, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
