About Lyzos

What is Lyzos?

Lyzos is a sports analytics tool that runs every player prop through a 6-factor scoring model and gives you a single number from 0 to 100. The score tells you how strong the data is for that pick — not what to bet, but whether the underlying numbers support the line.

Is Lyzos a sportsbook?

No. We don't take wagers, hold customer funds, or operate any gambling platform. We're a data and analysis tool. What you do with our scores is up to you.

What sports do you cover?

NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL — including goalie props for hockey. We're working on adding more (golf, tennis, soccer) over time.

How accurate is the Lyzos Score?

Honest answer: no model is "accurate" in the sense of predicting outcomes. The score reflects how strongly the available data supports a pick — recent form, hit rates, matchups, etc. It does not predict what will happen, and we never claim it does.

What the score does well: surface plays where the data is unusually aligned, and warn you off plays where it isn't. Most picks score below 64 — that's the model doing its job.

How the model works

What are the 6 factors?

Recent form (L5/L10 trend), hit rate vs. the line, head-to-head matchup history, home/away splits, rest days, and injury status. Each factor contributes weighted points to the final score. See our methodology page for the full breakdown.

Why does the model score most picks below 64?

By design. Sportsbook lines are pretty efficient — most props sit close to the player's true expected value, which means most picks shouldn't have an edge. The model only flags strong plays when the data is meaningfully misaligned with the line. If the model said "strong play" on every prop, it wouldn't be worth anything.

What does each score range mean?

78–100 (Strong Play): All factors aligned. Rare — maybe 1 in 20 picks.
64–77 (Good Lean): Real edge. Worth a small play.
50–63 (Lean): Slight edge. Small unit only.
0–49 (Skip): Model says no. Don't force it.

Pricing & billing

How much does Lyzos cost?

We have two options:

  • Starter — 14-day free trial (card required), then $4.99/mo + tax
  • Pro — $4.99/mo + tax (Founders' price, locked for life — first 25 customers only)

Annual billing saves 20% on Pro. Founders' pricing is replaced by regular pricing ($14.99/mo) once the first 25 founders are claimed. See pricing for the full breakdown.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. The easiest way to cancel is to use the link in your most recent Paddle receipt email, or email support@lyzos.net. No fees, no penalties. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. A self-serve cancellation page in the app is on the roadmap.

Why does my credit card statement say "Paddle.net"?

Paddle is our payment processor and merchant of record — they handle billing on our behalf. The charge will appear as "Paddle.net" or "Paddle*Lyzos." If you don't recognize a charge, email us first at support@lyzos.net — we can usually resolve any concern faster than a chargeback.

Do you offer refunds?

Within 14 days of your initial purchase, yes — full refund if you haven't used the service substantially. After that, you can cancel anytime to stop future charges. Full details on our refund policy page.

Using the app

Do I need to know how to bet to use Lyzos?

Some basic familiarity helps. You should understand what a prop bet is (e.g., "LeBron over 25.5 points") and know your sportsbook of choice. We don't teach betting — we teach the data behind picks. If you're brand new to sports betting, focus on responsible bankroll management first.

Where do you get your data?

Statistical data comes from established third-party sports data APIs (currently Tank01 via RapidAPI). We don't scrape sportsbook sites and we don't fabricate data. Lines and odds you see in the app may differ slightly from your sportsbook based on timing — always verify the line at your book before placing any wager.

Can I export my pick history?

Not yet. Pick history is currently saved in your browser session, but a downloadable export (CSV) isn't available yet — it's on the roadmap. If you want to be notified when it ships, email support@lyzos.net and we'll let you know.

Account & privacy

What data do you collect about me?

Account info (email, name), usage data (picks analyzed), and basic device info. We don't sell or share your data. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

How do I delete my account?

Email support@lyzos.net with the subject "Delete my account" from your registered address. We'll close it and remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (tax records, fraud prevention).

Responsible use

What if I think I have a gambling problem?

Help is available, and it works. Call or text 1-800-GAMBLER (US) for free, confidential support 24/7. Or email us at support@lyzos.net with subject "Close my account — RG" and we'll close your Lyzos account immediately, no questions asked. See our Responsible Gaming page for more resources.

Why is there an age requirement?

You must be 18+ (21+ in some jurisdictions) to use Lyzos. Sports betting is regulated as adult-only activity, and our tool is designed to be used in connection with that ecosystem. We don't allow minors on the platform.

Still have a question? We'd love to hear from you.
